this report provides data and information from secondary sources.This secondary data is reported so that the results of the 2003
research can be compared not only with previous Healthy Hall research,
but also with state, regional and national data.

Census Bureau - except where shown, data is from the 2000 census
data release
Centers
for Disease Control - Lead
federal agency responsible for protecting health and safety
maintains and reports data on illness and risky behavior.
National
Center For Health Statistics -
The
nation’s central agency for collecting and reporting health
information.The NCHS
annually conducts the National Health Interview Survey, a survey of
36,000 households.
Georgia
Department of Human Resources -
A
state agency responsible for administrating health and human
services across Georgia.

An
