The following research methods were used in the completion of this
assessment:

A comprehensive telephone survey of 500 randomly selected homes in
Hall County. Efforts were made to ensure the polling provided samples
based on the demographic profile of Hall County.

Focus groups conducted among a cross-section of Hall County groups,
including youth, senior adults, South Hall
Countians and major ethnic groups.

A written survey of youth behaviors and attitudes toward alcohol
and drug use administered by Hall County Schools.

Secondary data from a variety of sources such as US Census
Bureau, National Center for Health Statistics and others.
Bill
Stiles of Stiles Healthcare Strategy, Inc., administered the telephone
survey, conducted focus groups and provided overall expertise to the
project, working jointly with the Healthy Hall Partnership.
